Microtomes
RM2125
This microtome comes in two different versions: RM
2125 and RM2125 RT (with specimen retraction,
trimming and slot cover as additional features). Both instruments have
been designed for the routine histopathology laboratory where the manual
use of a rotary microtome is preferred. The RM 2125
is the instrument of choice for customers looking for a reasonably priced
Leica microtome that provides unrivalled sectioning quality.

RM
2235
The RM2235 is designed for routine paraffin sectioning as well
as for cutting harder materials, like methacrylate embedded samples:
-
Extremely smooth-running handwheel due to patented force compensation
system
- Precision
specimen orientation with zero point reference for easy recut alignment
- New,
spacious magnetized waste tray for easy clean up
The
on/off function of the retraction permits the user to work with the
rocking mode only, if desired.

RM2245
A semi-motorized microtome that combines a smooth, ergonomic
handwheel with a high-precision motorized specimen feed mechanism for
maximum section reproducibility and reduced operator fatigue:
-
Features a precision specimen orientation with zero point reference
for easy recut alignment
- New
disposable blade holder with “3 pressure point clamping” enhances
stability across the entire blade
- Spacious
magnetized waste tray for easy clean up

RM2255
This microtome meets the requirements of users looking for a
compact, ergonomically designed microtome to help relieve repetitive
motion issues:
- Precision
specimen orientation with zero point reference for easy recut alignment
- New
blade holder with “3 pressure point clamping” enchances stability
across entire blade
-
Spacious magnetized waste tray for easy clean up
-
Specially designed electronics system allows flexible operation of
the instrument whtile providing precision control over the specimen
advance and cutting speeds
